Location: Cary Senior Center Fees: $5(R) $7(N) (1 class) 117332 Sat Sep 15 7–9 p.m. Kids Together Walk, Run, & Roll for Inclusiveness (all ages & all abilities) Join in the true spirit of Kids Together Playground (KTP) to celebrate everyone's right to have fun and be involved. Registration and activities begin at 10 a.m. Walk starts at 10:30 a.m. and spans the 1.4 mile (round trip) segment of the Hinshaw greenway, from KTP to MacDonald Woods Park via the pedestrian bridge over US-1 & 64. AVOIDING POWER STRUGGLES Learn communication skills to avoid getting into power struggles, plus tips for coping if you wind up in a battle with your child. Doug is a certied High School Math Teacher and Diane has her Masters in Special Education and Masters in Social Work. They have a 22- year-old son with autism. They will present a hands-on guide for going out and about in your local community with someone, age toddler to young adult, who has autism or any special need. Location: Herbert C.
