PARKS PART THREE 154 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Sears Farm Park 5077 Sears Farm Road, 27519 Sears Farm Park is a wonderful place to enjoy all seasons with a shaded lawn area and playground, paved trails, unique landscaped areas, and a giant sculpture that little ones can climb on and move. Hours: Sunrise to sunset Features: Play lawns, playground, picnic shelter, basketball slab, kinetic sculpture, and restroom. Thomas Brooks Park 9008 Green Level Church Road, 27519 Thomas Brooks Park spans 224 beautiful acres in West Cary. You can enjoy a pick-up game of basketball or reserve a softball or baseball eld or the lighted multipurpose eld. Enjoy walking trails, a playground, and picnic shelters. Thomas Brooks Park is also home to the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Hours: Sunrise to sunset; in lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity. Features: Four lighted baseball/softball elds with restrooms, two batting cages and hitting areas, two outdoor lighted basketball courts, two lighted articial turf multipurpose soccer elds, picnic shelter with restrooms, playground, and a half-mile walking track around the athletic complex. Old Reedy Creek Road Trailhead Park 2139 Old Reedy Creek Road This trailhead is the starting point for the Town's 7.0-mile Black Creek Greenway and an access point for the East Coast Greenway. These trails connect westward to White Oak Creek Greenway, and the American Tobacco Trail and eastward through Raleigh then southward along the Neuse River. The trailhead provides access to scenic Lake Crabtree overlooks, Wake County's mountain bike trails linking to Lake Crabtree County Park, and hiking and biking trails within the 5,000-acre Umstead State Park. Dunham Park 519 Walnut Street, 27511 Whether you're enjoying a competitive game of tennis or watching the kids slide, whirl, and dig, Dunham Park is fun for everyone. "Dad" Park, as it is often called, is named after R.S. Dunham, a former teacher who taught at Cary High School for 40 years. It's also home to Cary's Dog Park for our four-legged, furry friends and Sk8-Cary for bike and skate enthusiasts! Rose Street Park 110 Rose Street, 27511 A quaint, neighborhood park, Rose Street Park holds the distinction of being Cary's smallest park.
