NATURE EDUCATION PART TWO 74 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Teen Hemlock Nature Quest (age 13–15) If you think your child has seen everywhere at Hemlock Bluffs, think again! These programs journey to far corners of the Preserve on a quest to nd nature rarely seen by the public or other program participants. Dress for the weather and off-trail conditions. Bring your sense of adventure! (HNQ participants are eligible to volunteer as program assistants for our younger nature programs.) Location: Stevens Nature Center/Hemlock Bluffs Fees: $12(R) $16(N) (1 class) NOCTURNAL WILDLIFE We will search for owls and the other active wildlife after the sun sets. Equipment is provided. 117116 Sun Dec 9 4–6 p.m. Young Ecologists (age 10–13) Participants will build condence and make new friends while expanding their knowledge and appreciation of the environment. Each session is primarily a eld excursion with a classroom session relevant to a specic nature topic. Equipment provided. Children are dropped off for these programs.
