Elk's Hoop Shoot December 6 | Times vary | Age 8–13 | Bond Park Community Center | Free Co-sponsored with the Raleigh Elks Lodge #735, this free throw contest is for boys and girls age 8–13. See page 15 in the Special Events section for more information. Basketball Achievers 1-on-1 & Small Group Instruction (age 6–17) This instruction is for the athlete who is serious about learning basketball fundamentals. The ongoing sessions offer skill development in ball handling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques. Pre- and post-assessment will be given with recommendations for future development.
