46 Fall 2018 Cary Senior Center Outdoor Recreation Town of Cary Archery Club @BPCC (age 10 & up) Join our regularly meeting Archery Club. This six-week session allows shooters the opportunity to perfect their technique and get more time on the range. This is great for archers who want to practice but may not be seeking a structured training environment. A USA Archery instructor will be present during all sessions to provide tips. Must have attended Intro to Archery course. All equipment is provided. May use your own bow. Max draw weight 35lbs. Location: Bond Park Community Center Fees: $59(R) $77(N) (6 classes) 116629 Tue Sep 11–Oct 16 5–6:30 p.m. Archery for Seniors @BPCC 50+ Come learn the basics of archery! Learn how to set up a bow, and archery basics including shooting, safety, and scoring. All equipment will be provided. No prior experience is needed. This is an outdoor program; dress appropriately for the weather. You will explore local parks and amazing trails. Limited sets of hiking poles are available to borrow on a first-come first-served basis for scheduled day hikes. This group will meet in the CSC lobby and drive together. Dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes. More information is available at the front desk. You will learn how to rig the boat, launch and land, sail at all points to the wind and right the boat after capsize-- everything you need to know to competently sail a Sunfish sailboat. The class is taught by a certified British Canoe Union Instructor. Kayak rental is included.
