6 Summer 2018 Cary Senior Center Trips Let's hit the road and discover sites around the triangle. All trips leave from Cary Senior Center. You must be at Cary Senior Center by the scheduled time. Return times are approximate. Space is limited, and costs cover only admission and transportation, unless noted otherwise. See each description for details. Register early because reservations must be made and paid for in advance to secure our trip. There are NO REFUNDS for cancellations. All trips may not be accessible for all people. Contact CSC to discuss. Location: Lobby End of Summer Produce Trip Savor the flavors of muscadine grapes, figs, and pears while welcoming early fall produce at the NC Farmer's Market. Enjoy cooler weather and a leisurely lunch at State Farmers Market Restaurant (on your own). The transportation being used is a 15-passenger van, it is not wheelchair accessible and you will need to be physically able to get in and out of this vehicle. Captain Don will provide historic, scientific, and environmental perspectives on the vital role the lake plays in our region. Enjoy lunch at Pittsboro Roadhouse and General Store (on your own) before returning to CSC. Water provided. Light walking includes some steps and uneven surfaces.
