Cary Youth Theatre Explore creative drama, acting, performance, musical theater, technical theater, design, dance, and more in a supportive place where we communicate, take chances, solve problems, share ideas, and respect different points of view. Come imagine, create, and collaborate. "Be Somebody!" Applause! programs are held at Cary Arts Center unless otherwise noted. Drop-in Drama (age 11–17) Sample some of the theater games, exercises, and activities taught in Applause! classes and ask questions about the program. Participants will design and sew a Jedi costume, build a lightsaber, and learn combat choreography for Star Wars–inspired fight scenes. AUDITIONS (age 13–18) Wednesday, September 5, 5–9 p.m. This production is a musical: Participants will be asked to read from the script and learn/perform music and choreography.
