& Crafts Festival! This year, Lazy Daze welcomes
more than 300 artists from 16 states and many
great exhibits and activities for all ages. Lazy
Daze is recognized as one of the top arts festivals
in the nation! You won't want to miss anything,

Featured Artist
Roxanna Alexander (Rocky) was
born and raised in San Francisco
and moved to Cary in 1993. She is a
founding member and past president
of the Fine Arts League of Cary, a
signature member of the Watercolor
Society of NC, and a juried member of Artspace. Her art
has a lot to do with color, but more to do with what she
loves: her koi ponds, gardening at sunrise, sunsets, rural
nostalgia, and chocolates.
Her Lazy Daze artwork is inspired by her favorite fl ower,
the dogwood, and scenes of Academy Street. The bold,
mustard yellow background represents the hot lazy days
of summer.
