FITNESS & WELLNESS PART TWO 100 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org T'ai Chi: Dynamics of Yin & Yang (age 16 & up) As an introduction to the principles of T'ai Chi, this class includes breath work, structural dynamics, walking, play with the diagram of yin and yang, and the ABCs of energy cultivation. Exercises open energy channels, stabilize the knees, loosen the hips, foster internal power, relaxation, and concentration. As a complement to form practice, heavy ball enhances push-hands abilities while increasing power and grip strength-an excellent foundation for further study of Taijiquan. Come with a two to eight- pound medicine ball depending on your prior conditioning.
