We stress participation for the promotion of physical and mental well-being. These programs are designed to provide a competitive recreation opportunity that promotes fitness and well-being to the participants through team and individual league play. Adults can participate in softball, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. The goals of the program include participation, sportsmanship, and fun. Teen Girls Volleyball Skills Class (age 13–17) Advance your skills in serving, passing, setting and hitting and learn the rotations, rules and offensive strategies of the game. Instruction will be modified for the participant's level of play and skills are applied to game situations. This class is excellent preparation for the Cary youth league played in June and July. New players and players wanting to change teams will be asked to attend a skills evaluation and will be placed onto a team. Individual Interest List If you would like to play, but do not have a team, email sports@townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4062 to be added to the interest list. Often teams need additional players and may draw from this list. Adult League Registration NEW IN 2019: Adult sports league registration is now available at http://teamsideline.com/cary. On the home page click "enroll" to register a team or "more info" for details of leagues currently accepting registration. Team captains and players will need to create an account on TeamSideline and all payment and rosters will be managed at that site. Registration is accepted from teams only.
