CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL LANTERN FACTS! The lantern dragon on Symphony Lake is 200 feet long—the length of three school buses—and weighs nine tons or 18,000 pounds! Don't miss the dragon, as well as 26 new lantern displays with over 15,000 LED lights. These lanterns, which have to be disassembled for shipping, have traveled for weeks by boat and tractor trailer to their destination—Cary, NC!
