Practice drills that can be used on your own time. Proper arm care will also be discussed with the participants. Together, USA Baseball Staff and Town of Cary Baseball Instructors bring you the best possible clinic on pitching, hitting, defense, athleticism, and evaluation. All participants will receive a USA Baseball cap. Pre- registration is encouraged, as space is limited. Learn the fundamentals of 'Muggle Quidditch', the Harry Potter version of Quidditch, through a series of practices and scrimmages. Incidental contact may occur during play much like soccer. Learn to throw the baseball properly and with more accuracy and strength. Proper throwing mechanics also reduce the chance of injury to the throwing arm. Parents are encouraged to participate, too! Location: USA Baseball National Training Complex Instructors: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $27(R) $35(N) (1 class) 121487 Sun Feb 24 1–2:30 p.m. 121488 Sun Mar 17 1–2:30 p.m. The Town of Cary offers year-round one- on-one baseball lessons from qualified instructors for youth ages 7–17. Lessons are $30 per half hour or $45 per hour. Schedule a hitting, fielding r pitching lesson today. Lessons can be booked through the Town of Cary EZ-Reg system. Lesson availability will be added onto EZ- Reg each month starting on the 25th of each month prior. i.e. March lessons will become available February 25 (Please note that youth under 10 years of age may only register for half hour lessons) Please email TOCInstructors@townofcary.org with any lesson related questions. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION Baseball Coaches: On-Field Clinic The USA Baseball National Training Complex hosts an interactive coach's clinic on Thursday, March 14 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Bond Park Community Center. The clinic is free to all coaches and will be conducted by USA Baseball staff and coaches. Learn creative instruction ideas, how to's, and drills for your practices. If you are interested in attending, please contact your Town of Cary league administrator or you can register using course code 121484.
