Prepare your pots (burnished with terra sig) for firing in advance of the workshop. While the results of atmospheric firings cannot be controlled, learn ways of influencing serendipity to achieve desires results. Practice time outside of class is necessary to develop wheel-work skills. Prerequisite: Pottery Handbuilding Basics or Pottery Basics. Emphasis will be on improving individual sculpting skills, the ability to see and interpret from the models.
