Learn about techniques and styles of cubism, fauvism, and pop art. Choose your favorite still life subjects while expressing your personal sense of whimsy, humor, and tradition. Pigmented beeswax, melted on a heated palette, is applied with brushes. It hardens immediately and must be fused with a heat gun. Techniques such as scraping, incising, transfer, and collate will be used to create unique paintings. First panel and painting supplies are included. The group included Monet, Renoir, Pissarro and Degas. Today, their Impressionist paintings are some of the best-known and loved in the art world. Create your own impressionist- style painting using techniques that these painters introduced.
