Learn the tricks to better batter, successful spinning, fabulous fillings, and folds. This is a hands-on class where you will be making and eating your own creations. All supplies will be provided. Spring-themed recipes will be discussed and sampled, but this class will focus on basic decorating techniques. Please bring one dozen unfrosted cupcakes (any flavor) to this spring training cupcake class. A 1M decorating tip will be yours to take home! Location: Herbert C. Decorating techniques will be taught including use of piping bags and metal tips to create borders, flowers, and designs. Before attending the second class, your homework will be to make and ice a cake. Location: Herbert C. Homemade cheese dips, spinach dips, different sauces for wings, and more will be the treats for this class! Let's make some traditional Mexican dishes like, guacamole, fish tacos, and a tres leches cake! 121422 Fri Apr 26 6–8 p.m. Sweets for Your Sweet: Candy Making (age 18 & up) Learn the fundamentals of basic candy making. Make chocolate-covered cherries, red velvet cake balls, and hand-rolled truffles. At the end of the class, participants will have a beautiful box of candy to share or gift!
