OUTDOOR RECREATION PART TWO REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 87 Junior Olympic Archery Development—Outdoor (age 9 & up) Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a program of USA Archery that helps archers enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition. Learn the steps to shooting success as taught to Olympic athletes and earn awards as you master skills as different levels. Own equipment is highly recommended but not mandatory. All members are required to join USA Archery within two weeks after starting the program. Must be approved after an Intro to Archery class. Location: Bond Park Community Center Instructor: Program Staff Fees: $99(R) $129(N) (9 classes) 119253 Sun Mar 10–May 19 10-11:30 a.m. 122146 Sun Mar 10-May 19 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (No Class Apr 21, May 12) Town of Cary Archery Club (age 10 & up) This four-week session gives shooters the opportunity to perfect their technique and get more time on the range. This is great for archers who want to practice in a non- structured training environment. A USA Archery instructor will be present to provide tips. Must have attended Intro to Archery course. All equipment is provided. May use your own bow. Maximum draw weight is 35 pounds.
