COMPUTER SKILLS 4A INTRO TO MICROSOFT OFFICE This class is for those who have mastered basic computer skills 1 & 2 (or have equivalent experience). We will discuss basic MS Office applications including: Word (word processing), Power Point (slide show presentations), and Excel (basic spreadsheets). A flash drive is required for this class. This full featured Office suite includes all of the standard office components including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations and more. This class is for those who have mastered basic computer skills 1 & 2 (or have equivalent experience). Although the class is taught using Windows 10, versions are available for Mac and Linux platforms, users of these systems will also benefit. This hands-on class is all about prevention and the avoidance of frequent or major repairs. Fees: $10(R) $15(N) (2 classes) 120066 Mon/Wed Mar 4–6 1:30–4 p.m. EXPLORING WINDOWS 10 This course explores the features of Windows 10 and how Windows 10 differs from previous versions of Windows. The course covers more details than the 1-day "What's New In Windows 10" seminar and allows you to try out Windows 10 features in a hands-on lab environment. You will learn how to customize the Windows 10 Desktop, Start Menu, and Task Bar, and how to tailor the appearance and behavior of Windows 10 to suit your needs. Since this is an intermediate level course, students are expected to have a basic working knowledge of some version of Windows. A Flash Drive is required.
