Stretching improves circulation. It gets the blood moving which wakes you up and helps you feel less sluggish. Regular stretching can relieve stiff muscles and creaky joints. Plus, researchers think stretching could help with fine-muscle coordination meaning those who stretch have a better chance to avoid a tumble or injury. This class is low-impact and for all levels. No yoga experience necessary. Modifications are made to accommodate different intensities, levels, and abilities. A yoga mat is recommended. You must be able to get up and down from the floor; however, a chair can be used for assistance.
