BEGINNER/IMPROVER LINE DANCE For those with some line dance experience or have successfully completed the Intro/Beginner Line Dance Class or Absolute Beginner class. Location: Ballroom Instructor: Helen Merentino & Leslie Stephens 120672 Every Thursday 1–2:15 p.m. (no class 1/24, 2/14, 3/14) INTERMEDIATE LINE DANCE For those who have line danced several sessions at the Beginner/Improver level and would now like more challenge. Location: Exercise Room/Ballroom Instructor: Mitzi Kelley 120675 Every Tuesday 2–2:50 p.m. 120673 Every Thursday 2:30–3:30 p.m. (no class 1/24, 2/14, 3/14) INTERMEDIATE 2 LINE DANCE This class is for the experienced line dancer who wants to learn more advanced dances. Location: Exercise Room Instructor: Mitzi Kelley 120674 Every Tuesday 1–1:50 p.m. Performing Line Dance These sessions are for those who are practicing performing to perform for venues such as service club meetings, assisted living facilities, professional organizations, and other events. Location: Exercise Room/ Ballroom Instructor: Helen Merentino & Leslie Stephens 120677 Every Tuesday 3–4 p.m. Every Thursday 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m. (no class 1/24, 2/7, 2/14, 3/7, 3/14, 4/4, 4/18, 5/2) Tap Dance FREE Feel the beat and move your feet to the music in one of our tap dance classes. Appropriate tap shoes are required. Wear tap shoes or hard soled shoes for the first class; tap shoes (available from any local dance store) will be discussed the first day. Winter/Spring program takes place January 9–May 29. Location: Exercise Room Instructor: Connie Belton BEGINNING TAP Get your heart a-pumping and your feet a-tapping as you learn basic tap steps that build into simple dance routines. What a way to tap into life! Wear tap shoes or hard soled shoes for the first class, tap shoes (available from any local dance store) will be discussed the first day. 120405 Every Wednesday 3–3:50 p.m. (no class 2/6) TAP, THE NEXT LEVEL You've practiced your shuffles and can flap with the best of them. Now is the time to challenge those feet with tried and true tap combinations.
