CONCERTS PART ONE REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 13 Celebration of Bluegrass Friday, July 26 | 6:30 p.m. | Free For the ninth year, the Town of Cary partners with the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music (Pinecone) to present Bluegrass Camp, teaching guitar, ddle, mandolin, and songwriting. Hear the young musicians in action at 6 p.m. Stay to hear an up-and-coming bluegrass band put on a great show. Jamrock Friday, August 2 | 7 p.m. | Free A taste of the islands! Starlight favorite Jamrock returns to ll the air with their authentic reggae rhythms. Rock out with "Yard Style" reggae, including Lovers Rock, Oldies, Dancehall, and Roots music. Celebrate the band's Jamaican inuence and origins at the nal concert of the season. Summer Sertoma Series Sertoma Amphitheatre is nestled away inside Fred G. Bond Metro Park–a perfect setting for summer concerts! All concerts are at 7 p.m. and are free. Come early for a seat or pack your own chair. Food and leashed pets are permitted, but please leave alcoholic beverages at home. Concerts may be cancelled or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Sponsored in part by PineCone. Saturday, June 15 Saturday, July 13 Saturday, August 10 Park After Dark Concert Series Enjoy a fun night out at the Downtown Park with your signicant other, a group of friends, or just y solo. These free concerts feature unique food from local vendors and live entertainment. All shows are from 7–9 p.m. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Outside alcohol is not permitted. A limited selection of low-level lawn chairs will be available. Personal lawn chairs are also allowed. Beach Music Party Friday, June 28 | 7 p.m. | Free Transport yourself to North Carolina's coast for an evening of beach music and North Carolina's ofcial popular dance- the shag!
