Our adventures will encourage the understanding and appreciation of the natural world at night. This old- fashioned camp style program includes nature activities and crafts, night hikes, and campre snacks around the re pit. Each program has a different nature topic. Young Ecologists (age 10–13) Build your condence and make new friends as you expand your knowledge and appreciation of the environment. Each session combines a eld excursion with a classroom session relevant to a specic nature topic. Equipment provided. Fees: $8(R) $10(N) (1 class) DISCOVERING CREEK WILDLIFE Explore Swift Creek as we search for snakes, salamanders, turtles, and more. 124933 Sat Aug 10 10 a.m.-noon Hemlock Nature Quest (age 13–15) Think you've seen everywhere at Hemlock Bluffs? Think again! Journey to the far corners of the Preserve on a quest to nd nature rarely seen by the public. Dress for the weather and off-trail conditions. And, of course, bring your sense of adventure! Hemlock Nature Quest participants are eligible to volunteer as program assistants for our younger nature programs.
