Join us as we visit locations across North Carolina to observe the many ecosystems found in our state. Travel alone or in pairs as we journey toward our destinations and be sure to arrange for overnight accommodations as needed. As always, plan ahead as we cannot accept withdrawals after 14 days before the trip date. Fees: $30(R) $36(N) (1 class) BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS FIELD TRIP We return to the Blue Ridge Parkway during summer to search for breeding birds, wildowers, and beautiful scenery. We will be meeting at the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 124382 Wed Jun 19 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Adult All classes take place at Stevens Nature Center at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve unless other noted. Adult Nature Programs (age 16 & up) Stretch your legs, clear your mind, and experience nature. You'll continue your lifelong learning through informative and educational nature walks that are focused on seasonal plant and wildlife activity. Be prepared for slow walking on steps. We'll search for trees, shrubs and other plants of summer to sharpen identication skills.
