Citizens may access the disposal box according to the following directions: Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; no appointment is necessary. Accepted items: Expired, unused, over-the-counter and prescription medication in pill form. It is recommended that you transport all medications in their properly marked original pharmacy or retail containers. Prohibited items: The following items are expressly prohibited from disposal in this box: Vitamins, needles, liquids, creams, aerosols, batteries, combustible or radioactive materials.
