Instructor will be working with each student at his/her level. Also included will be backgrounds. You will be drawing, color mixing, choosing color schemes, and learning the use of value and intensity to make subjects recede and advance and add volume. In this class, students will learn how to work with colored pencils by using underpainting, layering and burnishing techniques. Working from photos, you will complete a realistic painting of a subject of your choosing—flowers, fruits, glass, metal and more. You can choose to work on white, tinted or black paper. Select from photos provided by the instructor or bring your own. All levels are welcome. Class and individual instruction will be provided.
