20 Summer 2019 Cary Senior Center Education Musical History Part 1 This course looks at music and its evolution from earliest evidence of instruments and how music was made. Incorporating audio, different stages of development and influence are presented. Each session will cover a different aspect of the story. Payments must be made in the form of check or money order to the instructor on the first day. What goes on out there, away from civilization? Who eats whom? What keeps a prairie or desert or a forest running? Ecology is the study of creatures 'at home', not in the lab. Is the science ever really settled? What is science any ways and how does it work? (3 classes) 125550 Wed Aug 7–Aug 28 9:30–10:45 a.m. (no class 8/14) Weather and Climate FREE Marvin Maddox is a retired meteorologist (Air Force and National Weather Service). He uses his education and experience to discuss the causes of North Carolina weather and climate, and the outlook for future changes. Marvin also likes to mention some humorous episodes in his career experiences.
