Train your brain to view the object in a more abstract way, paying close attention to the up-close details. See if your friends and family can identify the object from your drawing. 124678 Wed Aug 7–21 6:45–8:15 p.m. Sculpting in Polymer Clay (age 11–15) You can sculpt anything that you can imagine in polymer clay. Come learn about basic use of tools and techniques of sculpting an object with this versatile medium. Instructor: Jill Rinehart Fees: $42(R) $55(N) (3 classes) 124619 Mon Jul 29–Aug 12 6:45–8:15 p.m. Glass Fused Glass Beginning (age 12–17) Create a design for your art, gain skill with the necessary tools, and prepare glass for firing. Types of glass and useful terminology will also be covered. Create items such as coasters, jewelry, and window ornaments. To allow for kiln firing schedules, completed works may be picked up later.
