Volunteer Workdays Looking for a volunteer experience, community service, or conservation project? Join forces with the Stevens Nature Center staff to assist with preserve maintenance and improvements. And, have a little fun while you're at it! Fees: FREE Wildflower Watering Club (age 2–5 w/ caregiver) The preserve provides watering cans for you and your child to water plants in our native wildflower gardens. Each session includes a wildflower watering club giveaway. 127142 Thu Sep 19 11 a.m.–noon 127143 Thu Oct 17 11 a.m.–noon National Public Lands Day (age 6 & up w/ caregiver) Join forces with your friends, family and neighbors to maintain the trails and resources at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve. 127139 Sat Sep 28 9:30 a.m.–noon Trail Maintenance (age 16 & up) Assist staff with mulching and other trail improvements. 127140 Sat Oct 19 10 a.m.–noon 127141 Sun Nov 10 2–4 p.m. 127159 Sun Dec 15 2–4 p.m. get your hands dirty. want to help out?
