Mummy & Son Ball Friday, October 18 | 6:30–8:30 p.m. | Age 5–12 | $21 Per Mom/child pair ($10 for an additional child) Middle Creek Community Center This fun-filled spooktacular evening is bound to be a hit with your little goblin! Mummies and sons, dress in your favorite costume and compete for prizes. Play games, dance the Monster Mash, and have a cool treat from our ice cream graveyard. Fee includes one mom and one child. Pre-registration required using code 127099. Cary Dog Days Saturday, October 5 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. | Free Fred G. Bond Metro Park Enjoy a day filled with fun for you and your four-legged friend! The event features a canine Frisbee disc competition, rabies and micro-chipping clinics, local pet groups, and vendors showcasing items for your canine family members. All dogs must remain on a leash when not competing. Treat your canine companion to an exciting day at Bond Park! SKYHOUNDZ© LOCAL FRISBEE DISC COMPETITION All dogs, regardless of lineage or experience, are invited to participate. Each participant goes home with an official disc (while supplies last.) Prizes awarded to the top three competitors. Winners qualify to compete in regional competition that culminates in the World Canine Frisbee Disc Championships. Spectators are welcome! Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.; competition begins at 11 a.m. RABIES VACCINE AND MICROCHIPPING CLINICS Keep your pets safe by getting them vaccinated and micro-chipped. Members of Cary Teen Council will wash and dry your dog before you head home. Please, friendly dogs and cash only. Small Dog (1–10 lbs): $5 Medium Dog (11–30 lbs): $7 Large Dog (31 lbs & up): $10 Pet Paddle Saturday, October 5 | 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. | $8 Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Boathouse Finished with Dog Days but looking for more fun with Fido? Take advantage of this one-off chance to take your pet on a boat ride.
