SK8CARY PART TWO 112 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Special Events Cary BMX Freestyle Contest Qualifying | Friday, October 11 | noon–6 p.m. Finals | Saturday, October 12 | 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Free for Spectators, $40 Amateur, $50 Elite Cary is hosting its very own Elite BMX Freestyle Event! This event allows elite BMX athletes from all over the world to earn points towards their qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The event gives spectators an opportunity to see and meet future Olympic athletes right here in Cary. Fall Contest (all ages) Saturday, November 2 | 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Free for Spectators, $15 Beginner, $20 Intermediate, $25 Advanced, $30 Pro The best BMX, skateboard, and scooter athletes on the east coast compete in this fall contest! All levels of riders are invited to compete in the contest. Spectators are welcome to watch beginners make their first-ever runs and professional athletes pull amazing tricks. Shred with Santa (all ages) Thursday, December 19 | 4–6 p.m. Join Santa and your friends during our regular session at Sk8-Cary to play awesome games and earn prizes! NEW! Introduction to Mountain Biking (age 8 & up) Hit the Godbold trails in this introductory clinic. Practice communication skills and trail etiquette, as well as safe riding practices. Learn all about riding techniques, positioning, braking, hills, and navigating small existing obstacles that could come up on any trails. Looking for a more advanced program? Call or visit us to set up a private lesson or custom program!
