CONCERTS PART ONE 22 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org Cary LIVE Concert Series Spend a wonderful fall evening in Downtown Park enjoying live, original music from some of the best up- and-coming bands from across the country. Concerts are from 7–9 p.m. and feature great music, food trucks, and craft breweries. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. Outside alcohol is not permitted. A limited selection of low-level lawn chairs will be available. Personal lawn chairs are also allowed. Saturday, September 21 | The Talbott Brothers Park After Dark Concert Series Enjoy a fun night in Downtown Park with your significant other, a group of friends, or just fly solo. Concerts feature unique food from local vendors and live entertainment. All shows are from 7–9 p.m. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. Outside alcohol is not permitted. A limited selection of low-level lawn chairs will be available. Personal lawn chairs are also allowed. Wednesday, September 11 | Peter Lamb and the Wolves Cary Arts Center Bonus Performances Clayton Piano Festival and Town of Cary Present "Living in the Moment" Wednesday, November 6 | 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $20 Adults; $15 Seniors (55+) & Students Classically trained prodigy pianist, composer, and multi- genre improviser, Joey Chang, has been a unique rising star on the musical scene since graduating from Julliard in 2018. His chameleonic skills as an improviser allow him to collaborate with many different artists in most genres. For this program, he will create his own music on the spot, incorporating multiple genres, film, audio/visual projections, and audience requests. "The Nutcracker Suite" presented in partnership with Cary Ballet Company Saturday, December 21 | 11 a.m. Tickets for the performance are $12. Tickets for the Ballerina Tea are $12 and sold separately. During this one-hour spectacular, enjoy a delightful, condensed, narrated version of the holiday classic "The Nutcracker," in addition to a mini-ballet demonstration staged by Cary Ballet Company's Artistic Director, Mariaelena Ruiz. Afterward, join us for a special Ballerina Tea. Decorate a teacup and take photos with featured ballerinas. Fall Sertoma Series Sertoma Amphitheatre is nestled away inside Fred G. Bond Metro Park–a perfect setting for fall concerts! Come early for a seat or bring your own chair. Picnics and leashed pets are welcome, but please leave alcoholic beverages at home. Concerts may be canceled or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. The Trailblazers Saturday, September 14 | 7 p.m. | Free Based out of Wilkesboro, NC, The Trailblazers make original inventive music, putting their own twist on Americana, folk, and jazz music.
