The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) makes cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. Form and team and help us raise money for this important cause. Festivals Asian Fest Featuring the Dragon Boat Festival Saturday, September 28 | 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | Free This popular festival makes its return this year on Symphony Lake and features food booths, cultural exhibits, performances, children's activities, dragon boat racing, and more! This event is made possible by Asian Focus and Pan Am, Lenovo, and Intel ® , as well as Grand Asia Market and other cultural and community businesses and associations. Tacos N Taps Festival Saturday, October 5 | noon–5 p.m. | Tickets: $39-$70 Fiesta grande! Put on your party sombrero and let us take you south of the border for some foodie fun. This all-you- care-to-taste beer and tequila festival offers the Coast's best tacos and Mexican food. Enjoy great live music, margaritas, piñata punching, contests, and many other surprises. This is "nacho" average taco festival! Bring a photo ID as proof of age and proof of identity. Cary Diwali Saturday, October 12 | 10 a.m.–9 p.m. | Free The 19th Annual Cary Diwali celebrates the Festival of Lights at Koka Booth! Enjoy music, dance, and theater performances; a handicraft bazaar; food from local Indian restaurants; an exhibition of Indian art and culture; activities for children; and yoga demonstrations. The event is capped off by a firework show over Symphony Lake. Presented by Hum Sub, Inc., and the Town of Cary. Triangle Oktoberfest Friday & Saturday, October 18 & 19 | 10 a.m.–8:30 p.m. Tickets: $5-$40 The Triangle Oktoberfest's 5th annual event features a live German band, music from The Polka Brothers, Kid's Zone, traditional Bavarian food and fare, and plenty of beer! Presented by the Rotary Clubs of Apex Sunrise and Cary MacGregor. CARY DIWALI
