Cary Photographic Artists meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at The Cary Theater. CARY PLAYWRIGHTS' FORUM The Cary Playwrights' Forum helps playwrights and aspiring playwrights of Cary and the surrounding areas in North Carolina to develop as dramatic writers. We offer regular feedback sessions with other playwrights, actors, and directors; the opportunity to collaborate in staged readings or productions of their original works; and educational classes and workshops. FINE ARTS LEAGUE OF CARY Take in a monthly art lecture/presentation featuring accomplished artists of various disciplines. The Fine Arts league of Cary meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center. Everyone is welcome! September Duke Voice Care & Town of Cary Present "Let Your Voice Be Heard: Healthy Singing and Speaking Voice for Older Adults" with a performance by 100 Men in Black Saturday, September 7 | 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Tickets: $25 (prior to Aug 15); $35 (after Aug 15) Cary Arts Center Join us for an interactive workshop on vocal health for older voices, led by Duke Voice Care Center specialists. Learn what happens to our voices as we age and how to have a healthier, more fulfilling communication experience. Take part in hands-on learning sessions for your singing and speaking voice. Anyone who is interested in having a better voice will benefit from this immersive event. Cary Players Presents "Twelve Angry Jurors" September 27–28 & October 4–5 | 7:30 p.m. September 29 & October 6 | 3 p.m. Advance Tickets: Adults $20; Seniors & Students $18; Groups of 8+ $17. Tickets at the door are an additional $2. Cary Arts Center Originally titled "Twelve Angry Men," this classic drama is about what it means to pass judgement on your fellow peers in a democracy.
