Join us for this clinic designed for middle school and high school softball pitchers. All pitches will be reviewed. We will focus on positioning, moving to the ball, blocking, framing, ball transition, and throwing. Offensively, we will work on bunting, slapping, hitting, bat path, quickness out of the box, base running, and smart ball placement. There will be a scrimmage on the last night! Area high school coaches will review proper techniques and strategies. Then they will run through skills and drills practice for throwing, hitting, fielding and position play. Location: Mills Park Softball Field Instructors: Town of Cary Softball Instructors Fees: $45(R) $54(N) (2 classes) 128364 Mon, Wed Oct 28 & 30 6–7:30 p.m. Quidditch Quidditch (age 11–17) Dodge a bludger, score goals with the quaffle, and find the snitch first! Learn fundamentals behind 'Muggle Quidditch' and the positions that are played in the Harry Potter version of Quidditch through a series of practices and scrimmages. Incidental contact may occur during play much like soccer. Brooms are provided. Location: Fred G.
