Creating ACTIVE Retirement Years (919) 469-4081 15 Art Exhibitions Capital City Camera Club The Capital City Camera Club in Raleigh, NC, is a social organization of amateur and semi- professional photographers that provides an engaging forum in which members share their work and develop photographic skills. Informative semi-monthly meetings feature photographic education and competitions. Most meetings are inspiring presentations by experienced photographers, and several meetings are for judged, or just critiqued, prints. Members also happily contribute their time and talents to community service projects. Installation: January 21—March 20 Reception: January 24 Art55 Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Cary Senior Center and the Fine Arts League of Cary, this show will feature two-dimensional art made by local residents over the age of 55. Awards will be given at the reception. For more information, including eligibility and entry rules, call the Cary Senior Center after January 2. Installation: March 23—May 15 Reception: March 27 Grandpaparazzi Granpaparazzi Photography Club was formed in the spring of 2011 as a collection of avid photographers and those wanting to learn more about cameras, specifically digital cameras. For more about the club, join the group on the fourth Thursday of each month from 1:30–3:30 pm at the Cary Senior Center.
