It's also designed to be intuitive for users of both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, incorporating the best of both worlds to enhance your experience and help you be more productive. This seminar will introduce you to the basic look and feel of the Windows 10 operating system, provide an overview of new and enhanced features and offer you information to upgrade your Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 OS to Windows 10. This class is designed for users familiar with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. The course covers more details than the 1-day "What's New In Windows 10" seminar and allows you to try out Windows 10 features in a hands-on lab environment. You will learn how to customize the Windows 10 Desktop, Start Menu, and Task Bar, and how to tailor the appearance and behavior of Windows 10 to suit your needs. Since this is an intermediate level course, students are expected to have a basic working knowledge of some version of Windows. A student Flash Drive is required (Available for $10 at the Front Desk.) You may bring your own if you prefer. This course introduces you to the basics of computing and provides extensive practice using the mouse and the keyboard. You are introduced to and use the WordPad and the Paint applications programs. This course is intended for those with minimum or no experience using a computer. A student Flash Drive is required (Available for $10 at the Front Desk.) You may bring your own if you prefer. You will also gain an understanding of accounts and privilege in Windows 10. You can customize the look of the computer for each account user.
