You should have a violin and bow in good condition, and be able to play A, D, and G scales with good intonation. A fun class, where you learn to play well with others! In the first class we discuss how to buy an inexpensive ukulele. Playing the ukulele, besides being fun, helps develop use of hand and finger muscles to improve dexterity and to exercise your brain. You will learn a variety of simple songs on your ukulele in this class to expand your musical horizons. Wed Jan 8–Feb 12 9–10:30 a.m. 002546 UKULELE ADVANCED BEGINNER This course begins where Ukulele 101 left off. We'll play and sing more songs as a group, learn more chords, strums, and techniques. We'll work on manual dexterity while having more fun! Participants from part 1 or equivalent may register for this class. We will continue building a solid foundation of grammar, speaking and listening to the beautiful language.
