30 Winter/Spring 2020 Cary Senior Center Nia Technique Nia is a form of fusion fitness for the body, mind, emotions and spirit. The technique integrates movements from dance, martial arts and healing arts to condition the whole body, quiet the mind, release stress and restore the spirit. It is fun, expressive and adaptable for all fitness levels. Come find the joy of movement with Nia! Please wear comfortable clothing; Nia is typically practiced barefoot, but non-slip socks and/or comfortable shoes are also welcome.
