8 Winter/Spring 2020 Cary Senior Center Arts & Crafts Jewelry Making Workshops 50+ Enjoy making beautiful pieces of unique jewelry using a variety of materials. Handcraft one-of- a-kind jewelry for yourself or to give to a friend. Experience the accomplishment of making wearable artwork! Location: Classroom 302 Instructor: Ginny O'Neal COPPER ENAMELING CLASS With this class for beginners or returning students, learn the steps for copper enameling to design a colorful pair of earrings, a pendant, a fashion pin or a magnet. Small pre-stamped copper pieces will be kiln fired by instructor during each class date, ready for completion and take home. The cost for colorants, equipment and one copper piece are included in the class fee. Another copper piece will be available to purchase and complete during the workshop for an additional $1. The card will allow you to have 10 visits to either of our open studio programs: Ceramics and/or Fine Arts! You can also purchase a one-time pass to try out one activity. Our experienced and talented instructors are at the Open Studios to assist you in beginning a new project or help you complete one! Membership cards are purchased at the front desk.
