An Inclusive Approach The Town of Cary Parks Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is committed to an inclusive approach to recreation and encourages individuals with and without disabilities to participate together. In order for individuals with disabilities to participate as fully as possible, reasonable modifications will be provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you or a family member requires a reasonable modification to participate in a program, please check the appropriate box on the registration form. Things to Remember As You Plan the Best Summer Yet! • Town of Cary residents will have first priority to register for a camp on February 4; non-residents can register on February 18. • Waiting lists will be created, if a camp gets full prior to the end of the registration period. Those camps will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with no preference given to place of residency. • Change of plans? Things happen. We know! If you need to withdraw from a camp that has not been canceled by the Town, you must request to be withdrawn at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the first day of the camp. The participant will receive either an account credit or a refund, less a 15% service fee. • Sometimes, we have to cancel a camp. If this happens, 100% of the registration fees are refundable. In the case that a cancellation occurs during the course of a camp, the refund or credit will be prorated. • Parents who register a child for a full day camp will receive an email invitation to complete online camp forms for their child. These forms must be completed prior to the first day of camp. The Town of Cary uses the ePACT Network, a secure network that helps manage emergency contact and medical information for campers. Photography Photos in this guide provided by Town staff and Alyson Rode of Alycat Photography. • Feb 4 for Cary residents • Feb 18 for nonresidents See page 72 for details. MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
