TOW N O F C A RY L A Z Y DA ZE A RTS & C R A F TS FESTIVA L 4 VISIT THE BEST IN SHOW 2019 ARTISTS In 2001, the Jerry Miller Artist Awards were instituted to commemorate the 25th annual festival and honor Jerry Miller, the festival founder. Each year, these winners are selected as the best in show for the festival. Award winners are automatically invited to participate in the following year's festival and are exempt from festival fees for that year. The 2021 Jerry Miller Award winners will be announced on Saturday, August 28. Returning 2019 Jerry Miller Winners A029 Ginnie Parrish, Mixed Media C314 Terry Pool, Jewelry D430 Ashley Mortenson, Painting E505-6 Chris Gug, Photography Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival and Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival are administered through the Town of Cary's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department, which is dedicated to providing a variety of events that focus on community building. Each year, proceeds from the festival are given back to the community in the form of grants benefiting projects that have a cultural arts focus, supporting Town of Cary and Downtown Cary initiatives.
