TOW N O F C A RY L A Z Y DA ZE A RTS & C R A F TS FESTIVA L 2022 4 SPECIAL ACTIVITIES (CONT'D) HISTORY TIMELINE HISTORY TIMELINE For nearly half a century, the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival has welcomed guests from all over to the heart of downtown Cary, NC for two days filled with art, entertainment, food, and making memories. Stroll down memory lane as we look through 46 years of the festival! PAGE-WALKER ARTS & HISTORY CENTER PAGE-WALKER ARTS & HISTORY CENTER Tour the galleries to view paintings, ceramics and photography by talented local artists. Visit with the Friends of Page-Walker and the Historic Preservation Commission on the front porch to hear about Cary's past and present. Go to the Cary Heritage Museum on the third floor, and don't forget to stop by the colorful Anne B. Kratzer Educational Herb Garden as well as the pollinator garden for some natural beauty. ARTIST DEMONSTRATIONS ARTIST DEMONSTRATIONS Local artisan guilds will demonstrate their amazing crafts during the festival. Come learn about leatherworking and gourd painting with the Raleigh Leatherworks Guild and the NC Gourd Society. Watch George-ann Greth demonstrate glass-blowing and the Woodturners Guild of NC show how to turn wood. FIND LITTLE JERRY FIND LITTLE JERRY Our Lazy Daze Man is hiding at the festival and is hoping to be found! Keep your eyes peeled for five Little Jerrys and when you find them, upload a selfie to the Cary Art Daze Facebook page. Winners will be selected after the festival!
