OVERVIEW OF CARY'S EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Cary's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered through BHS. The program provides all benefit-eligible employees and their immediate household family members with free, confidential,and in-the-moment support to help with mental, behavioral, and emotional well- being. The goal is to help you balance the responsibilities of your personal and professional lives with customized support tailored to your individual needs. COUNSELING BHS provides up to six free one-on-one counseling services per incident to you and your immediate household family members with no required referral. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can contact BHS if you are experiencing family, health, or other personal stresses, such as anxiety or depression, relationship/martial/family conflicts, substance use, difficulty in navigating job or parental responsibilities, and more. Confidential sessions can be held face-to-face, by telephone, by video, or by chat. You can request to see a counselor at a certain time of day that works best for you. You can also share your preference on type of counselor. Call 1-800-327-2251 to connect with a master's-level clinician. WORK-LIFE PROGRAM BHS's Work-Life Services provides up-to-date and carefully screened resources and referrals for a wide range of needs, including: • Childcare – adoption and special needs support, before and after school programs, summer camps, and nurseries and preschools • Eldercare – home-based, housing, in-home care, inpatient, and transportation services • Convenience Care – adult education classes, home repair, party planning, pet care, and airfare, hotel, and car rental A PARENT LOOKING FOR: A FAMILY MEMBER OF AN ELDER WHO NEEDS: AN EMPLOYEE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE Child care Nanny services Before/after-school care Camps Financial assistance Adoption information Answers to parenting questions Home health care Respite care Community services Help determining the right level of care Screened referrals for assisted living/ nursing homes Hospice information Finding an apartment Finding movers Relocating to another city Choosing a realtor School and neighborhood information Housing assistance LEGAL SERVICE DISCOUNTS You can also receive a 25% discount off an attorney's hourly rate for ongoing services!
