CARY Benefits Handbook Page 45 Additional Programs and Benefits HELPFUL INFO BHS Employee Computer Purchase Program Employee Computer Purchase Program Loan Request LGFCU Resources for Seniors L PROGRAMS THROUGH PARKS, RECREATION AND CULTURAL RESOURCES Cary's employees, spouses, domestic partners and dependents can participate in group fitness and wellness classes offered at Cary's recreational facilities for FREE. Cary retirees may also be eligible for discounted, if not free, rates for programs offered through Cary's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources department. Additionally, benefit eligible employees who do not live in Cary and their immediate family (spouse, domestic partner and children) may pay the Cary resident rate for programs and class fees that are not fitness/wellness related. For information call 919-469-4061. TRAVEL INSURANCE As part of Cary's life insurance policy, benefit eligible employees are eligible for travel insurance. Most of the services are for issues that would arise during travel; however, there are also some "Pre-Trip Assistance" services that the employee might use before his/her travel. Employees do not need to sign up in advance of their trip for this benefit.
