It combines power tool and hand tool techniques. Advanced skills that will be practiced include dovetailing, mortise and tenon joinery and panel glue-ups. The final table will be an heirloom piece in your home. If you would like to write short poems and/or micro-fiction, this is the class for you! Umstead State Park Photography Contest Footprints in William B. Umstead State Park Exhibit will feature photography of the Park, it's structures, and nature so get out your cameras, pick out your best shots, and submit an entry to the contest. 3 Categories for Adult Photography o Where are Your Footprints? People doing Park activities o Stories in Stone Remnants and structures of the Park history o In the Wild Park flora and fauna Youth photography (16 & under) will also be accepted. All winning entries will be exhibited at the Umstead Visitors Center and published in the 2015 Park calendar.
