A dry change of clothes is recommended. • Intentional capsizing is part of some of the classes, so plan on getting wet. • Wear footwear, such as old sneakers, that you can wade in and won't come off your feet (i.e. no flip-flops). • Wear clothing made of synthetics if possible. It will dry much faster than cotton and is less likely to chill you if wet. • Consider bringing/wearing a windbreaker in the spring and fall. • Bring/wear sun screen, sunglasses with strap, broad brim hat or cap, and a water bottle. • Leave valuables such as keys, wallets, cell phones and other electronics at home or in a safe place. Do not bring them on the boat or they may end up at the bottom of the lake. • No pets permitted on the boats. Sailing DON'T WAIT! Please register early. Early registration allows us time to plan appropriately. Often we are able to accommodate those on waiting lists by adding additional spots in the class or adding additional classes. Classes that do not meet their minimum enrollment are generally cancelled; you could make the difference.
