Cary Senior Center Mission The Cary Senior Center is supervised by the Senior Pro- gram Staff of the Town of Cary's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. The Cary Senior Center strives to provide quality leisure activities and educational services to all adults ages 55 and older. These activities are designed to assist, inform, entertain and enrich the lives of Cary's citizens. The Cary Senior Center also facilitates the needs of area senior adult clubs. It is our goal to enhance the lives of Cary's senior citizens through our offerings. On the Cover Boating at Bond Lake Kayak, Canoe, or Paddle boating are only a few activities you can enjoy at Bond Lake. Just a quick walk from the Senior Center is a beauti - ful view of the lake and boat house. Take a break from your busy schedule to enjoy some outdoor activities! See boating classes in the Outdoor Recreation section of this brochure. June–August 2014 (919) 469-4081 Cary Senior Center Cary Senior Center Closed The Town of Cary and the Cary Senior Center will be closed on the following holidays: • Saturday-Monday, May 24-26 (Memorial Day) • Friday-Sunday, July 4-6 (Independence Day) • Saturday-Monday, August 30-September 1 (Labor Day) We typically close at 5 p.m. the evening prior to each holiday. in the spotlight Rocky Alexander's artistic expertise and her fun loving spirit make her watercolor classes delightful! She shares her knowledge of the arts as she leads the Funtastic Art Studio on Tuesdays from 4-6:30 p.m. Grab your brush and enjoy getting to know this wonderful instructor!
