Players will be instructed on proper load technique and arm extension through the throwing process. This clinic is instructional with individual drill work. Proper arm care and stretch- ing routines will be reviewed. Location: Thomas Brooks Park, Field 7 Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $28(R) $36(N) (1 class) 77036 Mon Jul 21 7:30-9 p.m. Hitting for Power (age 14-18) This clinic will offer the high school player an opportunity to enhance their hitting skills through proper sequencing and technique. The clinic will be instructional and interactive with multiple hitting drills. Location: Thomas Brooks Park, Field 7 Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $28(R) $36(N) (1 class) 77035 Tue Jul 22 7:30-9 p.m. Small Ball and Base Running Clinic (age 14-18) This clinic is designed to enhance player under- standing and execution of the basics of situational offensive strategies. Players will review and execute proper bunting techniques, situational hitting, and proper base running strategies. This will be an instructional clinic with a high level of player interaction. Location: Thomas Brooks Park, Field 7 Instructor: Town of Cary Baseball Instructors Fees: $28(R) $36(N) (1 class) 77039 Wed Jul 23 7:30-9 p.m. S o f t b a l l C l i n i c s Fastpitch Softball Summer Development Clinic Series for Middle & High School Players This developmental series will look at the individual positions of a fastpitch softball team and focus on the fundamentals and techniques to develop and enhance your game. It will culminate with a situational camp where all of the positions will be on the field in a live scrimmage. Just pick from the clinics that best suit your game. Softball Catchers Clinic (age 11-18) This clinic will teach participants the proper fun- damentals and techniques of fastpitch catching to include positioning, blocking, pop time, footwork, speed, strength drills, and the leadership role that the catcher plays. Each player must provide her own equipment: guards, chest protector, helmet and mitt/glove.
