Did you know…
the Town of Cary recently dedicated the
Veterans Freedom Park?
Located on Harrison Avenue, the park and monument are the result of many years of hard work by a group of dedicated
citizens and the generosity of SAS Institute and the National Veterans Freedom Park Foundation. The 12.6-acre park features
a memorial court of service flags, benches and the property's original veterans sculpture. Dominating the horizon is a 90-foot
white granite spire, assembled in Mt. Airy, NC. The five seals from each branch of the U.S. military circle the base of the spire,
creating an intimate and inviting space for reflection. The Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
