136 Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources CARY DOG PARK Cary Dog Park @ Robert V. Godbold Park 2050 N.W. Maynard Road The Town of Cary's dog park provides a place for dog owners to let their pets run safely and legally without a leash. The park is a one-acre fenced area accessed through Robert V. Godbold Park at 2050 N.W. Maynard Road Features ➤ Five-foot-high chain link fence with screening, paved entrance & electronic gate ➤ Lighted areas for small dogs and for large dogs ➤ Wood chips for ground cover ➤ Benches ➤ Water stations ➤ Information kiosk ➤ Pet cleanup areas Hours of Operation: 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Daily (no entry after 9 p.m.) What you will need to register: ➤ Town of Cary Pet ID Tag (required for Town of Cary resi- dents) Pet tags may be obtained along with the purchase of the Dog Park Pass at any Town of Cary Community Center. You must present proof of neuter/spay and micro-chipping either by copies of the documents stating the procedure was done from your veterinarian or having your veterinarian's signature on the pet tag application. Non-Neutered/Non-Spayed pet tag (one time) ........ $50.00 Neutered/Spayed pet tag (one time) .........................$10.00 Neutered/Spayed/Micro-Chipped pet tag (one time) .................................................................. $5.00 ➤ Cary Dog Park Registration form & waiver, completed and signed by pet owner ➤ Pet ID Tag applications, Dog Park registration forms and waivers can be found at www.townofcary.org ➤ Proof of current rabies vaccination Annual Memberships and Day Passes Pet owners can purchase an annual membership or day pass at any Cary Community Center. Membership cards and day passes will allow entry through an electronic gate. Resident Nonresident Single Dog $40 $80 Multi Dog $60 $120 Day Pass $5 $10 With the card access system, the Town can: ➤ Require proof of vaccinations for the health and safety of humans and dogs ➤ Offset operating costs through memberships and fees ➤ Track usage to plan for the future ➤ Promote registration of dogs within Cary Where to Get Your Pass: ➤ Bond Park Community Center, 150 Metro Park Drive, in Fred G. Bond Metro Park ➤ Herbert C. Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave, adjacent to Town Hall Campus ➤ Middle Creek Community Center, 123 Middle Creek Park Ave, on Middle Creek High School campus For More Information: ➤ (919) 469-4064 – Weekdays between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. ➤ (919) 462-3970 – After hours and weekends DON'T FORGET TO RENEW YOUR PASS! Annual passes are good for one year from date of pur- chase. Pass holders receive a renewal reminder in the mail approximately one month prior to expiration date. To renew a pass, owners need to complete the registration form including Pet ID tag number, sign the waiver, and bring proof of rabies vaccination to any community center. DON'T MISS OUT!
