GALLERY EXHIBITION (919) 469-4061 www.townofcary.org 71 August-September 12th Annual FALC Senior Exhibition Cary Senior Center Monday, August 25-Friday, September 19 Artists' Reception: Friday, August 29 | 3-6 p.m. Medium: Mixed Cary Senior Center and the Fine Arts League of Cary will be host - ing the 12th Annual Seniors Art Exhibition. This art show features two dimensional art made by local residents over the age of 55. The maximum size of work will be 18"x24" and no photography will be accepted. Fees and more details will be in the entry information. There will be ribbons and awards. A reception will be held for art - ists' and friends on Friday, August 29. Mediterranean Art: Mohammed Benchi Herb Young Community Center Gallery Through Sunday, September 21 Media: Mixed media paintings and drawings using oil, acrylic, soft pastel, sand, and clay Mohammed Benchi is an experienced artist who specializes in Mediterranean Art. His formal education in art sharpened his keen observations of the people, colors and textures seen in the Mediterranean part of the world. His artwork captures traditional figures, abstract and portraits.
